Chogogo's story began in 1997 as a family-owned resort in Jan Thiel, Curaçao. Today, Chogogo Curaçao features 189 accommodations, Salú Restaurant & Bar, an on-site car rental operation and a close partnership with Dive Center Scuba Do Curaçao.

In 2021, we expanded to Bonaire with the opening of Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort Bonaire in Kralendijk. With 200 accommodations, three restaurants and bars, beachfront facilities, car rental services and an on-site Dive Center Scuba Do Bonaire, it has grown into one of Bonaire's leading resorts.

While our company has grown significantly over the years, we have remained true to our family-business roots, valuing personal connections, entrepreneurship and a people-first culture. As a long-standing partner of TUI, we have proudly been part of the TUI Time To Smile concept since 2005, welcoming guests from around the world with the warm hospitality that defines our resorts.

Chogogo Curacao

Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort Curaçao was founded in 1997 as the first beach resort in Jan Thiel Bay, laying the foundation for what would grow into one of the island's most beloved destinations. For over two decades, we have welcomed guests with warm, personal hospitality, hosting approximately 15,000 visitors every year. Today, the resort features 189 accommodations, Salú Restaurant & Bar, an on-site car rental service and a close partnership with Dive Center Scuba Do Curaçao. Beyond hospitality, we hold a special mission close to heart: honoring the local environment and community by operating as a sustainable, responsible resort.

Chogogo Bonaire

Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort Bonaire opened its doors in 2021 in Kralendijk, bringing the Chogogo experience to a second Caribbean island. With 200 accommodations, from cozy studios to spacious villas, the resort offers everything guests need in one place. Three distinctive venues, Sunset Restaurant, Bari Beach Bar and Biña Restaurant & Bar, serve every craving, from relaxed all-day dining to an elevated evening experience. Guests can explore Bonaire's renowned reefs with our 5-star PADI Dive Center Scuba Do Bonaire, unwind at our beachfront pool and Lazy River, or discover the island with our on-site car rental service.
