Curaçao
Join the rhythm of Curaçao
In the middle of the southern Caribbean Sea, between Bonaire and Aruba, lies the island of Curaçao. With no fewer than 30 white sandy beaches and the clearest water in the region, Curaçao is a particularly attractive holiday destination. The climate is always pleasant and you will be surprised by the beautiful nature and the cheerful Caribbean atmosphere.
Curaçao is 440 square kilometers in size and has approximately 150,000 inhabitants. The Netherlands has a long history with Curaçao, and since 2010 the island has been an independent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The capital of Curaçao is Willemstad, known for the harbor with the brightly colored houses. Although Papiamentu is the official language, you can handle Dutch well. On Curaçao you pay with the Antillean guilder, which is linked to the US dollar.
Nice climate
Curaçao has a particularly pleasant climate: it is always there between 25 and 30 degrees, and the constant wind brings a nice cooling breeze during the day. That is why people in Curaçao also live more outside than inside. You can enjoy a drink on the beach until the late hours and there are regular festivals and performances for all ages.
